High-accuracy current output type
(TD8300 series)
The TD8300 immersion-type water level gauge uses a high-accuracy semiconductor pressure sensor to detect water levels. It has a built-in amplifier (converter), meaning no external converter is required. It also features a built-in lightning protection circuit.
Top-class accuracy
- JTEKT's high-accuracy TD8300 and TD4310 water level gauges achieve an industry-leading accuracy of ±0.1%F.S., which is made possible by correcting the output from the pressure sensor located inside the gauge body. (See the figure on the right)
- The TD8300 can also be used as a dam leakage gauge—an application that requires accuracy.

- Accuracy is calculated based linearity, hysteresis and repeatability.
Of these, linearity has the most impact, and while this is often expressed as BSL (best fit line) in countries other than Japan, JTEKT calculates it under more linear conditions, as shown in the figure on the right (red line).
* Even with the same accuracy of ±0.1%, there is a difference of approximately twice the accuracy when a product evaluated using BSL is measured using JTEKT’s standard method.
