Technical calculation for elastic displacement

The elastic displacement of a bearing that occurs when a radial load or axial load is applied is calculated as follows.

Operating conditions

Type of load

Select radial load or axial load.

Loading condition

Bearing displacements for a maximum number of 10 loads are calculated.
Enter the minimum load, maximum load, and load increment.
Enter the load per a bearing.For a double-row bearing, the program will automatically allocate the load to each row.

1) Equations in this table are approximate based on the assumption that the bearing internal clearance is zero.

2) For deep groove ball bearings and angular contact ball bearings with a nominal contact angle of 25or less, only an equation for displacement due to radial load is available.
