1Clutch release bearings
A "clutch" is a device that either transmits driving force from the engine to the transmission or shuts it off, without stopping the engine. JTEKT's bearings are equipped with a centering mechanism to prevent damage caused by sudden high-speed rotation during transmission of the driving force. In addition, some reduce weight by using steel plate presses for the bearing rings.

The transmission is a device that converts the power from the engine into driving force and transmits it to the wheels. Various different types of bearings are used together, each utilizing its own strength, and inside the individual components of a car there are also a great many bearings in use. Our bearings are provided with measures against gear wear and the like, for long service life even in dirty oil, and the low torque contributes to a reduction in fuel consumption.
3Bearings for differential gears
The differential gear is a device that converts the driving force from the transmission into even greater driving force and allows for different numbers of rotations for the left and right wheels. Our bearings are provided with measures against gear wear and the like, for long service life even in dirty oil, and by providing low-friction torque tapered roller bearings, which allow for an extremely small loss of driving force during rotation, JTEKT is contributing significantly to a reduction in CO2 emissions from cars.
4Oil seals for drivetrains
